Hey! I'm Jose, a data practitioner based in Barcelona. I build data pipelines, optimize queries, and make sure nothing breaks at 3 am 😅.

Currently at Aily Labs, I connect systems through APIs and create pipelines for SaaS clients in finance and retail. Previously, I helped Smartme Analytics turn messy marketing data into clear dashboards and actionable insights using SQL, R, and Python.

I work across the stack with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and dbt. I value readable code, solid tests, and observability. My motto: ship small, iterate fast, and measure what matters.

I started in product development at iSi Automotive in Berlin, analyzing data for airbag safety systems. I hold an M.S. in Big Data & AI from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from TU Berlin.

Outside work, I tinker with n8n and Notion, explore modern web frameworks like Astro, and share experiments with the community. Always learning—and open to collaborating on cool projects 🚀.
